Such Sweet Sorrow

The time for moving on has come again. Columbia Sportswear has been a great place to work over the course of my illustrious career there, but I was lucky enough to get a great opportunity from a little known company called Nike and my last day at Columbia was Friday. Yes, I know, five months is not long to stay with a company but such situations are merely collateral damage of company wide downsizing announcements.

In true Cameron fashion, my first day at Nike was today, leaving just the weekend to rest. It was only my second time on the campus (the first being my interview) and I must say it is a phenomenal group of facilities. At times when I'm walking through the buildings I feel like I'm walking through an amusement park, with each section and building in the campus having their own theme. I don't meet my team until tomorrow but today's orientation was a great introduction to the company. Changing companies and getting engaged all in the same couple of weeks has been hectic, but I'm excited about what's to come. By the way, my Employee Store Guest Passes are limited...and I wear a size Medium! Just kidding :)

Oh and was the case with Columbia, everyone should remember that the thoughts and opinions expressed on this site are mine alone and are not shared with Nike or any of its affiliates.
